Also, interesting things happening back home in Canada these days. Conservative majority and NDP opposition? Pretty amazing. I can't wait to see what happens over the next few years.
Ok back to nail polish! :) Zoya Matte Velvets are definitely my favourite Zoya finish. I had to get the black and grey (Dovima and Loredana) during my Zoya Exchange this year!
Zoya Dovima - Not just a plain black matte, this one has some depth to it. I was a bit disappointed to find that it required 3 coats for full opacity though :( At least mattes dry quickly, so I wasn't *too* disappointed.
Here it Dovima with topcoat; I don't think I captured just how twinkly this polish is!
Zoya Loredana - This is a silvery, grey colour that isn't quite as matte as the other matte velvets I have (or maybe it takes longer to dry?), but it seems really different to my eye. It's so much brighter and sparkley, even without top coat. I think this one was 3 coats for the picture, but 2 coats would be enough in real life.

So I think I own all the Matte Velvet polishes now! I'm so not on board with the summer Mod mattes because they don't look nearly as awesome as the velvets AND I heard they need 3-4 coats each D:!! Cmon Zoya, please make more matte VELVETS! :D
